Who we are

What information we collect
- Contact details — name, phone number, email, address and postcode.
- Job details — the service you've asked about and information about your property's heating or plumbing system.
- Correspondence — messages, calls and emails between us.
- Payment details — handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card details.
- If you apply for finance — information is collected by our credit broking partner TradeHelp Ltd and the lender; see "Finance applications" below.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide quotes.
- To carry out and manage the work you've booked.
- To issue invoices and warranty / commissioning paperwork.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations (e.g. Gas Safe notifications).
- To send service reminders (e.g. annual boiler service due) where you've asked us to.
Lawful bases
We rely on contract performance (to deliver the service you've asked for), legal obligation (regulatory record keeping), and our legitimate interests in running a trades business responsibly. For optional marketing reminders, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Finance applications
If you ask about pay-monthly finance, we will introduce you to TradeHelp Ltd, who act as the credit broker, and Novuna Personal Finance, who act as the lender. From that point, TradeHelp and the lender are independent data controllers for the personal information you provide as part of the application. Please review their own privacy notices for details of how they handle your data.
Who we share information with
- Manufacturers — to register warranties (e.g. Worcester Bosch).
- Gas Safe Register — to notify gas work as required by law.
- Our credit broking partner TradeHelp Ltd, only if you have asked about finance.
- Trusted suppliers and IT providers who help us run the business.
- Regulators, HMRC or law enforcement where legally required.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep information
We keep job and accounting records for as long as required by law (typically 6 years for tax records) and warranty / gas safety records for the life of the relevant warranty or certificate. Enquiry-only contacts are deleted within 24 months of the last contact.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, ask us to delete it where appropriate, object to certain processing, restrict processing, and request portability.
